Badonkadonk

Today, I received a package from AMD containing a shirt and wristband for AMD's Enterprise Online Event. Both are Lance Armstrong Foundation items.

Also, my T-7 arrived in the afternoon. Aint gonna mess with it now coz I have 2 projects due and 2 finals next week ( which is also the last week of this easy meany summer semester, yahoo!! ) It feels sooo badonkadonking good to get some good scores after a dry spell of 5 concecutive semesters without a decent grade to show. Spanish's an exception coz if you don't get an A, you're no-doubtedly a total moron.

And I introduce to you, Nintendo GAME BOY Micro™

GAMEBOY MICRO

  • Launch is slated for this Fall.
  • Silver in color for now, expect all sorts of rainbow-flavored variations.
  • Dimensions: 4 inches wide by 2 inches tall and 0.7 inches thick.
  • Weight: 2.8 ounces (80 paper clips’ worth of weight).
  • Processor: Same as GBA SP.
  • Form factor: “Gleaming shoulder and start/select buttons that literally shine”, removable and customizable face plate.
  • Screen: 2-inches, backlit and the “best Game Boy screen ever” with adjustable brightness controls for use indoors or outdoors.
  • Marketing angle: “We’re making the gorgeous Game Boy Micro for image-conscious folks who love video games, the ones who want the look of their system to be as cool as the games they play on it” according to George Harrison, Nintendo of America Sr. VP of marketing. It’s clear that they’re going after the kids who are too cool to carry around an obvious gaming device but who don’t mind carrying something that looks like the cell phone that they’re already carrying.
  • Accessories: built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery; supports standard headphones.
  • Software: the Game Boy Advance has nearly 700 titles available, all of which will be playable on the Game Boy Micro.

what's happening to the world people living in

A 2nd attempt of bomb attack, which failed, was reportedly attempted in London just barely 2 weeks after the 7-7 incident which took the lives of some 50 plus innocent Londoners. London police released the photos of the four men who were attempting the bomb attacks.

That was to accompany another important news that the Ringgit Malaysia (RM)-(USD) United States Dollars peg has been removed.

    I'm back

Hi, I'm back! with a new haircut.

Blogging was stopped for 3 weeks coz my grandma passed away 3 weeks ago. May her soul rest in peace. I remember she used to buy those ice cream sticks for us when she went to the market. 10 cents each. There wasn;t any of those in Malaysia's 10th Bandaraya, Sarawak's 2nd: Miri ( I actually went to the market with my Mom in search of the icecream sticks) That was back when I was a little primary skool kid and we would go back to visit them in Bintagor, a little mini town about 45mins away from Sarikei and maybe 1 hour away from Sibu. She was a very nice person... Working hard to raise her 10 kids back in the olden days was tough. She knew I like Kuinin mangoes, so whenever she had lotsa those, either bought from the market or from the kebun, she would sliced up a few and serve them after lunch and dinner. Last time, all my cousins would come back for holidays, but now, all grown up.. It's just not the same anymore.  I miss those days; when I don't have to know the world. Just sit back and relax, school holidays would mean a trip back to Bintagor(these are some photos of Bintagor) and Sarikei... meeting up with all the grandparents, cousins, aunties, uncles.. watch TV, play TV games, try to read the chinese newspapers, play monopoly. Well, life goes on.

Many things cropped up during the last 3 weeks... Somebody stole my laundry basket, yeah, I left it unattended in the laundry room after putting my clothes into the dryer. I had to carry back my clothes in a laundrybag, a plastic bag, with some clothes over my shoulders as well: it was annoying to lose it to theft.

Classes are going pretty ok.. and yes, classes are still boring.

I finally finished the NOCO and ACT ( about 3 months ago). But I kept the bottles just for the sake of taking their photos. It took me 2 years to finish 2 bottles.
