Our friends over at BudgetTravelOnline.com note that United, Delta, and Continental "hope to install iPod seat connections in their planes by mid-2007."
But what, you may ask, does that mean?
I was wondering, too. Apple's website explains it like this: "[The] iPod seat connections [will allow travelers to] power and charge their iPods during flight and allow the video content on their iPods to be viewed on the seat back displays."
In addition to the three domestic carriers already mentioned, Apple says that Air France, Emirates, and KLM also plan to get in on the iPod action.
