Wisconsin Accepts Outback Bowl Bid, Heading to Tampa Florida

It was announced that on Thursday, the 8-3 Wisconsin Badgers officially accepted an invitation to play in the 2008 Outback Bowl at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This would be a third straight bowl game in Florida as in the previous 2 seasons, the Badgers and I went to the Capital One Bowl (2006 and 2007) in Orlando. Wisconsin came out victorious in both Capital One Bowls, defeating Kenny Iron's Auburn in '06 and Darren McFadden's Arkansas in '07. I enjoyed both of my bowl game trips/vacations and is sad to say that I might not have the chance to be in the stands for this year's Outback Bowl. The opponent for the 2008 Outback Bowl is still undetermined and it may come from the SEC bunch of Tennessee, Florida, Auburn or Arkansas.

Whoever's invited, it promises a very good matchup as SEC has proven itself to be a very solid conference, unlike the Big Ten this year. For Wisconsin, after a National Championship hopeful previously touted BCS-ish season that started on a high but regressed to one battered with injury and 3 conference losses, a bowl game on the New Year’s Day is the simple reward for the team's persistent effort throughout the season. The 3 loses clearly costed a much hoped National Championship dream for all cheeseheads and Badgers faithfuls.

An untimely loss to Illinois followed by a dreadful loss to Penn State dug a huge hole for the Badgers late into the season. Then Wisconsin went down fighting against Ohio State before acknowledging that they are second to the Buckeyes and at the same time proved their worth with a convincing and solid win over Michigan at home which salvaged the season. There's much more to come from this Wisconsin core next season with talented starters like CB Jack Ikegwuonu, LB Johnathan Casillas,TE Travis Beckum and RB P.J. Hill returning. Stay tuned Badger fans. There are more to come.

1-Calc: The Best Calculator for Windows Mobile Pocket PC

I have 1-Calc installed on my newly flashed HTC Wizard/Cingular 8125 (Windows Mobile 6 Professional Edition) and it is inarguably many many times better than the default calculator program that came with any Windows Mobile OS. It is easy to use with the currency converter function with auto rate grab. It also features as a full scientific calculator, unit converter and tip calculator. Now just key in the amount on the bill and the number in your party and it'll spit out the tip per person according to the percentage you set (default is 15%).

Download Firefox 3 Now, Beta Version

I am so happy to run into this piece of information. Firefox 3 is actually available for download to the public. The directory is most probably meant for developers or beta testers, but it has been accessible since its alpha version. Now, the beta 2 version is on the ftp server. The last time I updated my Firefox via auto update, it has been crashing with the Not Responding error message as the window freezes. That's on Windows Vista 32-bit, but my girlfriend's Windows XP is fine with the same update. I am not too sure if it's my machine or is it the version of Firefox which created some conflicts with the Vista OS. Either way, I am ready to install the Firefox 3 even if it's a beta version. I ran the Vista beta version before it was released.

Upcoming Movie: Sweeney Todd

There's this Tim Burton's new movie, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of the Fleet Street, coming out on December 21st starring the ever capable Johnny Depp. In this movie, Johnny Depp is Sweeney Todd. Here's a link to the trailer. Depp is one of my favorite actors because of the variety roles he took on in many different movies. The characters he took on were completely unique and non-conventional. Just look at him in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Willy Wonka was a character I never understood and I never figured out why he would take up this role given his popularity in the acting world. Captain Jack Sparrow's character was definitely made much more interesting by Depp. These two characters easily explains how good Depp is at acting. He never failed to captivate the audience in these unconventional characters.

Once more, he is carrying another character which I think is unconventional, Sweeney Todd.
The revengeful 19th century legend of Sweeney Todd is definitely to come alive in this movie because Depp is at his finest and we all know what a movie like this becomes when Depp brings his A game. I am looking forward to a good outing by Depp for he never disappoints as we can all see from his much respected filmography. To find out more, visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site or you can visit Sweeney Todd on MySpace. If you need a proxy to access MySpace at your school or workplace, there's one which I mentioned here. It's an unblocker/proxy.

Currently Playing on My PSP: NCAA Football 2007

I am currently playing NCAA Football 2007 by EA Sports on my Sony PSP. That's the latest version in the market now, sadly. Somewhy EA Sports decided no to roll out a 2008 version for the PSP platform. I think the game is a must play for all college football enthusiasts so that they can show their support for their school by thrashing whoever their no.1 rival is.

The only downpoint is that the team rosters do not have the names of the players. The QB would have for eg. his name on the jersey as QB #7, WR #1 or TE #10. That kinda sucks. Yes it really does. The features are of that player who wears that number, height, size, agility, appearance and such, just not the name on the jersey. I already played through 2 seasons with Wisconsin ending up as the top ranked team in the country at the end of the season and emerging as national champs. I am getting a little bored of it now. But this game is really good on the PSP, very similar to the game plays on the Madden NFL which I used to play on the PS2 and PC.

One Good Reason to Visit Chuck E. Cheese: $0.10 Per Token

Yes, this is the best deal ever from Chuck E. Cheese. They normally have the buy 50 tokens get 50 free. One token has a $0.25 value. Through the 50 get 50 deal, you're actually getting 50% off as each token true discounted cost is $0.125 per token. But today, I found the bext deal so far. Buy 40 tokens and get 60 free. I get 100 tokens for just $10, which brings it down to just $0.10 per token! Yeehah! I am 23, but I can still have some fun at Chuck E. Cheese. I prefer to go on weekdays because there'd be less kids around to save myself some embarassment. Here's the coupon if you too need togo to Chuck E. Cheese, be it for yourself or your kids.

Free Reciprocal Link Exchange Directory

One of the easiest and earliest steps of trying to improve your website's exposure and traffic is to submit your website to a free directory. This is especially true for new websites because you'd want your website to be indexed in popular search engines. There are many free directories available on the internet. It's even better if the directory provides reciprocal links so that both parties can benefit from each other via the directory.

Another Blog Review Posted

I would like to thank Krispyblogs for the short review sum up of my blog. Writing reviews for others is a very good way to establish links to one's site. It would definitely increase the amount of inbound links. Blogrolling is another option too, but I wonder how many visitors actually visit the links in the Blogroll. If interested in reading more of Ryan's reviews, go to http://krispyblogs.com/reviews/

Uninstalled SopCast

I just uninstalled SopCast from my computer. The reason: I hardly used it because I always can't connect to stream the stuffs which I really wanna watch. Yes, I don't wanna pay for pay-per-views of the English Premier League because I am too cheap. I thought with SopCast, I'd get to watch Manchester United games once more, just like the days when I went to the mamak stalls and order teh plus roti canai's and waste away my freetime. Eh, no. That could be considered a hobby. So no waste time ok?

p/s: SopCast is a simple, free way to broadcast video and audio or watch the video and listen to radio on the Internet. Adopting P2P(Peer-to-Peer) technology. It enables you to stream free live channels from all over the world. You would need to install the SopCast player before you can start streaming (smart idea).

Credit Cards Australia Comparison

This is just right for my sister. A credit cards comparison site based in Australia. I would love to help her and give her some recommendations about which credit cards would fit her best. At the same time, she can go search and Compare Credit Cards with all the different choices available presented at a single site with a nice, organized layout. Cards can be browsed by type, features, banks and issuers. Right now, since it's going to be her first credit card, I'd probably recommend cards with some reward programs and no annual fees. I believe she is smart enough to pay her bills on time to avoid the charges which are really going to burn a hole in the wallet if there is no strong sense of financial responsibility. This site is a very good resource for her because of the details of the cards available and it is very easy to use. This should be the place to visit if you are looking for a credit card in Australia.

Black Friday Traffic Increase - Here and Gilroy

I have been seeing a spike in traffic due to the Black Friday Excel spreadsheet post. That post became the 2nd most popular post here in a matter of a few days. I didn't see that coming and it's definitely a good thing when you hit the traffic pot once in a while. I am expecting this sudden surde to drop back to its initial pace even though I am working on networking now to create more inbound links and increase the exposure and visibility.

I am glad to be able to share that useful file with all shoppers for this year's Black Friday sales. I headed to Gilroy Premium Outlets for the midnight opening sales and was stuck in traffic for more than 30 minutes about 2 miles away from the exit to Gilroy. It was so packed with people walking around like an ant colony and there're no parking spots available except at other closed stores which were located a little far away. I parked somewhere near OfficeMax, which was closed.

The line forming outside the store.

Puma store line.
This is GAP where it's too crowded and the line for the cash register is all the way to the end of the store.
I am heading out man.

Ctrl-Shift-Esc Is the Ctrl-Alt-Delete of Windows Vista, I Just Knew

I am currently using Windows Vista Home Premium Edition which came with my Dell laptop last April and I have always needed to bring up the Task Manager because of non responding programs which I need to terminate. In Vista, Ctrl-Alt-Delete would bring up a blue Vista screen called the Security Dialog and the Task Manager option is at the bottom of the list (Start Task manager). That's how I have been accessing the Task Manager for the past 7 months, a 2 step process.

I just came across that Ctrl-Shift-Esc is the actual shortcut to the Task Manager in Windows Vista. Saving me an extra step. But I don't like the combination. Maybe because I am so used to Ctrl-Alt-Delete and the Ctrl-Shift-Esc keys are lined up on the left edge of the keyboard. It's difficult to hit them with 3 fingers from my left hand, so I guess the best option now is to press Ctrl-Shift on the right and then Esc. And I tested that Ctrl-Shift-Esc also brings up the Task Manager in XP.

My Visit to Stanford University

Yesterday I paid the famous Stanford University a visit. It's about 40 minutes away and since I used to visit campuses when I go on college vacations and visiting friends, I thought this would be a good opportunity to have a real look at Stanford since I'm not too far away. There weren't many people around on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and seemed very peaceful and quiet. So nothing much to talk about actually.

Drove there via El Camino Real, parked the car at a Visitor's parking lot for 1/2 hour for $0.75. Walked to the Visitor's Information place at Memorial Hall but it was closed. So we grabbed a map and headed out on our own and proceeded to the Main Quad. Then we drove around the campus via the Campus Drive Loop to get a general landscape overview of the place. Was tempted to stop by the Stanford Shopping Center but did not. I would say this was a sightseeing tour of the campus without the audio narrations. More photos:

RealRank 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Explained

Ok, the RR (RealRank) segmentation system which PPP just implemented to counter Google's act of stripping PPP bloggers/posties of their PR (PageRank) to 0 is applied by RealRank: X, with X being an integer of 1 to 9. RealRank 1 means the top 90% blogs would qualify for the opp and so forth. So a RealRank 3 requirement means the top 70% oblogs would qualify. "RealRank: any" means all blogs are accepted. This segmentation is based on percentile (for now, until possible further changes are announced).

Project Cingular 8125 HTC Wizard TouchFLO Windows Mobile 6 ROM Flash Part 2: Success

After failing to flash my HTC Wizard/Cingular 8125 to a Windows Mobile 6 Professional with TouchFLO interface of the HTC Touch on my first try, I successfully got it done yesterday. My guess is correct, my Wizard/8125 was not CID unlocked. I proceeded to downgrade to the Button ROM (gives me the ipl of 1.01) and then CID unlocked it with Lokiwiz. Then I ran the Button ROM once more to get the spl to 1.01 also.

So I am all set to flash to a non Cingular ROM. It was recommended to flash to the T-Mobile 2.26 ROM first because it's the best setup/preparation to custom ROMs. So I had the T-Mobile splash screen on my phone with buttons for tzones and T-Mobile hotspots. I flashed to the TNT 1921 WM6 Pro TouchFLO ROM within 5 minutes and now I am running 10MB pagepool Windows Mobile 6 Professional with TouchFLO. Operation complete.

Below are some screenshots after the completion:

EDIT: As requested, a link for the Button ROM download (which works)
Please leave a comment if the link is no longer working, I'll upload one ;)

EDIT 3: As requested, a link for the TNT 1921 WM6 Pro TouchFLO ROM (10MB pagepool) download. After you install the ROM, install this TNT Cube to enable the TouchFLO cube function.

EDIT 4: As requested, a link for the TNT 1921 WM6 Pro TouchFLO ROM (6MB pagepool) download. After you install the ROM, install this TNT Cube to enable the TouchFLO cube function.

EDIT 5: 6MB = BALANCE BETWEEN SPEED AND AVAILABLE RAM FOR PROGRAMS

10MB = FASTER SPEED AND LESS AVAILABLE RAM FOR PROGRAMS

EDIT 6: Official Cingular ROM Download Link

EDIT 2: Before you start, check if your 8125 is a G3 or G4. Mine is a G3. G4 uses a slightly different approach/file. I think if you have a G4 and you do it with the G3 method, you'll brick your phone.

Use Coupons to Save Money

Are you set for holiday shopping? It's Black Friday and Christmas coming soon, it's New Year coming soon. I need to get holiday gifts for everyone, and maybe a SONY Slim PSP for myself, and get rid of my PSP Firmware version 3.40OE-A on eBay or Craigslist. Shopping online is fun and easy. You can get free shipping most of the time, and extra coupons for discounts that won't be available in stores! Normally I would use Google to search for certain coupon codes. For example, use Google to search "overstock coupon" or "compusa coupon" and you'll easily find something that'll save you some bucks.

CouponChief.com is a nice place to get the coupons and promotional codes. It's the chief! CouponChief.com has sweet Overstock.com coupons that I and you can probably use to get the newer, slimmer PSP for some lucky kid. It is more advisable to have a coupon website bookmarked. CouponChief.com has a wide variety of choices and resources. It'll be your source of coupons everytime you shop and save online.

Some of my favorites are: Kohls coupons for general bedroom appliances, Eastbay coupons for sporting goods, Footlocker coupons for footwear, Overstock.com coupons of cheap knockdowns. I used a Dell coupon for my Inspiron laptop purchase and it saved me an extra $100! That's 10 hours of my previous college part-time job right there! Are you gonna save or what?

RealRank by IZEA to Replace PageRank for Payperpost

The recent PageRank punishments handed out to bloggers who do sponsored posts has led to another clever idea from the people of Payperpost at IZEA to come out with an alternative to combat this unfairness. RealRank is their answer. Because Google has dropped PageRanks to 0 in many cases, including this blog which was a PR4, it no longer reflects the previous "traffic importance".

To quote IZEA:
RealRank data is gathered from the IZEA Toolkit "ITK" (formerly PPP Tools). It is a piece of javascript that many of you already have and those outside of PPP will be able to get from a separate site without joining PPP or SocialSpark. ITK gathers REAL traffic information, much like your analytics platform and ranks users based on their standing within the network. The formula is relatively simple:

70% weighted towards visitors per day
20% weighted towards amount of ACTIVE inbound links per day
10% weighted towards pageviews per day

Today, RealRank is officially implemented and the Blog tab has a column for RealRank and it displays my RealRank as calculated by ITK. I am glad we all didn't have to bow to Google's dominance.

Dirty Hotel Housekeeping: Watch Before You Travel!

When I travel and stay in hotels in the future, I will be more careful about the cleanliness after watching this video. It will make you sick just watching it. I guess the quality of housekeeping doesn't depend on the image of the hotel. It probably depends on the mood of your housekeeper! Who knew that the hotels that offer things like wireless internet, plush robe, free coffee and room service also offer you a direct way to get some nasty germs.

The video feedback: Ewwh. Really disgusting. I used to work as part time housekeeper in college and I try my best to keep things clean because I am a traveler as well so I really understand the importance of being clean. The one I worked with uses disposable plastic cups so I didn’t have to deal of glasses, whooh. Now think twice about why you got sick during or after your vacation. Yikes!

Vat19 Has Some Fun Products

Being an active postie at PPP, I have been selected to test some cool and fun products from Vat19. I received a package from Vat19 and it contained Color Flames Colored Candles which would be useful to recreate those romantic moments, 1 Smencils Gourmet Scented Pencil with chocolate smell which is awesome and an Insta Snow Fake Snow Powder pack which can be very good for pranks.

I really like the candles as they are unique and VAT stands for Videos and Things and it is an online store to shop for cool stuff from scented candles to high tech office gears, technology products like electronics and a whole lot more USB Gadgets. One of the item I checked out is the Universal Knife Block which doesn't use slots so I can store knives and utensils from different sets without any problem. Do consider Vat19.com for your holiday shoppings and stocking stuffers for this upcoming holiday season because they really have some potential curiously awesome gifts.

Apple Store Black Friday Sale Special

Apple Store is having a Black Friday Sale Special this year. November 23 only. It says "Come back to the Apple Online Store the day after Thanksgiving for a special one-day-only holiday shopping event. You'll find dozens of great iPod, iPhone, and Mac gift ideas — all with free shipping." Check back on Black Friday. Maybe there'd be deals on the Apple iPhone or iPod. Fingers crossed.

Project Cingular 8125 HTC Wizard TouchFLO Windows Mobile 6 ROM Flash Part 1

Yesterday I made the very first attempt to upgrade my HTC Wizard/Cingular 8125 running on Windows Mobile 5 with ipl/spl 1.08, GSM 01.16.11 and OS 1.8.88.1 to a Windows Mobile 6 and add TouchFLO to it. TouchFLO is the somewhat iPhone like feature of the HTC Touch which enables one to flick through cubic interface on the phone. I obtained a Windows Mobile 6 Professional ROM from the internet and first flashed to an official Cingular 2.55.11.1 ROM. It went through well and then I proceeded to flash to the WM6 ROM which didn't go through.

After consulting various and numerous forums, I am guessing that it wasn't successful because my Wizard/8125 is still CID locked. I managed to upgrade to an official Cingular 2.55.11.1 ROM because I am upgrading to a ROM from the same vendor (Cingular). CID lock is also called the vendor lock which bars one from flashing to a ROM other than the vendor's.

I will continue to proceed in 2 days to CID unlock my phone and try to flash to a non-Cingular ROM. The unlocking.flashing process can only be performed on Windows XP and not Windows Vista. So, I would have to wait for an XP machine to be available before carrying out my next attempt.

HTC Wizard 8125 Back in Working Condition

Although I already ordered a new OEM battery from Amazon for my Cingular 8125/HTC Wizard, I accidentally solved it before the battery arrived. I was removing my luggage's content because my girlfriend wanted to use it and I stumbled upon my AC charger. I have been charing my Wizard/8125 via USB because it's a whole lot easier. Combined with the 5-in-1 USB charger I got recently, I pretty much charge as many gadgets as possible with that very same 5-in-1 USB charger.

I plugged in the AC wall charger to the bottom of my Wizard/8125 and the battery indicator lighted up orange (charging). I left it for a while before hitting the power button on top of the phone and VOILA! the phone is working again.

I searched on forums regarding this issue and it seemed in most cases it's the battery's fault. When it is fully discharged, the battery is suddenly unable to charge. Lesson here: try the AC wall charger if the USB one doesn't work.

Freeze It Gel for Ultimate Pain Relief

I mentioned about this Freeze It Gel product a while back and I wish I could have unlimited supply of it to soothe my morning shoulder aches. When I sleep, I turn to my right, because my cousin once told me that it is the best position of sleep as the heart would be pressed if we turn to the left of lie facing the ceiling. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I would still suffer from shoulder aches. I have failed to figure out the reason why. Is it because of the pillow and mattress which I am sleeping on? Or is it just me sleeping with the wrong posture.

I wouldn't wanna wake up every morning complaining about shoulder aches at a tender age of 23. That would make me look weak, REAL weak. I am a man and therefore I should be able to withstand this pain, with a little bit of help from Freeze It Gel. It is the ultimate advanced pain relief solution for me. It comes in 3 oz. roll-on and 4 oz. tube packs. It contains Aloe Vera. I believe in the miracle of Aloe Vera. I use it for various purposes from face cleansing to wound cleaning. Freeze It can be used to treat shoulder and back pains, arthritis and also sore muscles and sprains.

The relief felt after applying some Freeze It to my shoulders.

There's a contest by PPP for the ‘most compelling’ entry about Freeze It Gel and the winner will get a year supply of Freeze It products (12 tubes). With this full year's supply of FreezeIt for me, I would be ready for the shoulder ache anytime! That would be truly wonderful for me. FreezeIt is ideal for me because it relieves pain fast and proved to be one of the most effective pain reliver product availablein the market today. FreezeIt works very well for me and I will continue to use and recommend it to my friends.

Take a look at the video commercial below to find out more about this product.

You can download the spreadsheet here. Enjoy. Let me know if the link is down or if the file is removed and I'll upload a copy. I doubt that it'll happen since there's nothing illegal in this.

Cingular 8125, HTC Wizard Can't Start/Boot, Buying New Battery

My Cingular 8125, HTC Wizard smartphone just died on me. It was frozen before I went to sleep so I reset it and went to sleep. It remained frozen the next morning. After I tried another reset, it would shut off after the first screen. I searched for possible answers on forums, and most of these occurrences are due to battery failures. Let's hope that's the case with mine because I don't need hardware problem with my phone right now. I went ahead and ordered an OEM replacement battery. From Amazon. $2.89, that's cheap. Cheaper than a burger.

Michigan Were Who We Thought They Were, Wisconsin Adds More Michigan Misery

Yes, it's almost a week since that Saturday clash between Wisconsin and Michigan at Camp Randall. Wisconsin rolled over the Wolverines in a convincing style with the great trinitic balance of sturdy defense, effective rushing and electric offensive passing game. The trio of Tyler Donovan, Paul Hubbard and Travis Beckum stood out on the field and made plays to show Michigan that they should not be thinking about the Big Ten title at the Horseshoe because they don't deserve it.

They were who we thought they were. The same damn Michigan team which became the laughing stock of the nation when they were humbled by Appalachian State 34-37, thus blowing their national title hopes into ashes and recondemned themselves by getting hammered by Oregon 0-34. Both loses came at their "mighty" Big House home ground. National title contender my foot! They don't deserve a Rose Bowl berth. It'd be sickening to see them be at the Rose Bowl at the expense of Ohio State's expense. A complete mockery of the system. Yes, Mike Hart deserves it, but it's Michigan and not Mike Hart we're talking about. Ohio State has been steady all season long before its rush defense got beat by Illinois. Michigan has been miserable. They lost the respect all by themselves.

The Wisconsin Badgers outplayed the Michigan Wolverines and exposed further their weakness heading into the game against Ohio State next Saturday which should see the Buckeyes take the Big Ten title and Rose Bowl berth and continue licking their wounds after kicking themselves out of the national title game in New Orleans. And Wisconsin would beat the one win Minnesota Gophers to finish the season on a high note. Go Badgers!

News: InPhonic (Wirefly) Files for Bankcruptcy, Versa Offers $50 Million Takeover

InPhonic, the parent company of Wirefly, has filed for bankcruptcy and has agreed to sell off their assets. They has also agreed a takeover of the firm by private equity group Versa Capital Management which reportedly bought over $90 million of debts and are offering $50 million in the takeover. InPhonic, of Washington, D.C., failed to make interest payments on its loans in October, drawing a default notice from the lenders. They listed their asset values as $121 million in the filed court papers. With an asset value of $121 million, that's not even enough to cover its debts. This must be the downfall of InPhonic.

iLite 21" Carry-On Upright-Black Luggage Bag Award Redemption

I requested the redemption on Nov. 4th and it arrived today (Nov. 13th) via UPS Ground delivery. The tracking record shows that it was shipped on Nov. 8th. It costs me 7500 points to redeem this travel luggage bag. I figure this would be a good replacement for my old luggage bag. A photo and review would be added later. I have been a member of ZoomPanel since October 2004 and have accumulated about 40,000 points so far. Pretty constant survey invitations make this panel one of the most productive ones I have ever joined.

HP Scientists Concocted A Way to Grow Your Own Toner

Sounds amazing doesn't it? If only that could be true. However, do you think printer comapnies would make that happen? Hell no! They are making so much money selling inks to us consumers that I can use the ink money to buy a new printer instead of refilling my ink. But the big one from Palo Alto has created toner particles that are chemically grown. Instead of mechanically grounding toner powder from a carbon block, HP's spherical monochrome toner is vat-grown. It sounds like Frankenstein science, but unlike Shelley's monster, HP's homegrown toner makes a bit of sense.

HP claims that this process results in a consistently round toner particle which allows for a more efficient printing process that will led to a smaller cartridge. HP also claims that toner placement on paper will be more precise because of the evenness of this new toner particle. Question is: Would this newly spawned toner come with a monster price tag per cartridge?

Custom Writing Service

Having spent most of the time crunching equations and numbers in the lab does not mean the big research project is done. The biggest huddle lies ahead, writing the technical report, because no matter how inspiring your research results are, without an organized report, all the crunch time just go to waste. However, many dread at the thought of writing technical paper as most of the theories are better presented with numbers and graphs, and it can sometimes be hard to use words to describe them perfectly.

It would be great to be able to use some sort of custom essays service to help and produce decent, organized research and term papers. Custom research papers service would address your needs and requirements to give you a personalized paper. If you’re spending all your time in the lab for your research and have no time to produce a professional looking paper, you can actually buy an essay! It’s always best to write your own and maybe seek professional help for some advice to perfect your work.

iPhone v1.1.2 GUI Jailbreak Software Released (Apple Hack)

Conceited Software /TouchFree has just released its GUI jailbreak. This is the "final bit" that performs the jailbreak after you run OktoPrep in v1.1.1 and then upgrade to v1.1.2. This verifies the previous post I had about downgrading to v1.1.1 before upgrading back to v1.1.2 to go around the jailbreak.
The software (OS X and Windows both ok) grabs the data off the iPhone (also iPod Touch), performs the upgrade with the Jailbreak, installs Installer.app and SSH.app, and reloads it back to your unit. The whole process takes up about 10 minutes or so. Once you're done, you have a fully updated v1.1.2 jailbroken iPhone system.

Yes, you must downgrade to v1.1.1 if you have an iPhone with v1.1.2 in it. This includes any iPhone bought after Nov.8 2007. The jailbreakme.com webpage has been updated with v1.1.2 details. This procedure is only for iTunes-activated iTunes and iPod touches--"hactivated" iPhones need not apply. That's because once you upgrade to v1.1.2, you need an iPhone that's activated before running the jailbreak v1.1.2 program.

PujutEngineered Featured on Ramblings of an Undisturbed Mind: Blog A Day

My blog was featured on Ramblings of an Undisturbed Mind and certified Blog A Day by Beth @ afrogtokiss.net. Blog A Day: PujutEngineered agrees with the fact that men love their gadgets. Right on! I don't care about chocolates. I google for PSP custom firmware upgrades, iPhone unlocks/jailbreak/hacks and also HTC ROM flash to other HTC phones' interfaces.

That was one of the reason why I dumped my unlocked Blackberry Pearl back to where I got it from (eBay of course). The Blackberry Pearl's OS is less customizable compared to that of any Windows Mobile. Even though it has the Blackberry Maps application, which I thought was really cool and possibly useful, I can't find many applications and third party add ons which the Windows Mobile platform offers to me.

With that said, Beth's site is fun to read. You'll find her link on my sidebar after this gets archived out of my blog's front page. And heck, my PR dropped to 2 today. I am part of the massacre too. :( Just when my Alexa's ranking is improving, my Google PageRank took a low blow. Bummer.

How About a Hawaiian Vacation?

I have been to most of the attractions in the United States except for Texas and Hawaii. It’s been almost a year since I last had my vacation and I think it is the time of the year to travel again. I am extremely hooked by the amazing vacation homes like those portrayed in the Hawaiian vacations which are shown on the Travel Channel. Time and again, I find myself breezing along with the host, enjoying the tranquility of an island where its natural beauty is further amplified by man-made wonders of a vacation home. I came across a website where I will get a chance to actually choose and stay in a real vacation home in Maui, Hawaii. If you’re also planning a getaway, imagine you can plan a vacation of a lifetime, stay in a beach vacation home, sipping cocktail at the pool side, swimming in the ocean with tons of exciting water sports, heavenly bed and bath await to end your day, sounds like really there is no horizon of joy and relaxation. Check out the Hawaiian Local Travel Information to know more.

Nokia Launching New N-Series Phone Soon

Rumor has it that Nokia is going to announce a new N-Series phone soon. A quick visit to N-Series website would arrive at a curtain screen plus a countdown timer, "Nokia Nseries" logo at the top. On the left is a photo of a unannounced Noka N82 caught in the wild. I am guessing Nokia is set to announce the N82 officially in a few days.

Less Senstive Teeth Issues Thanks to Biotene

Don't you just hate the slashing pain striking your teeth when you're about to feast on your favorite foods and desserts such as ice creams and caramel filled candy bars? I do. Having tooth sensitivity problem is just a pain the the back. Not so much of ice cream, but I really hate it when I can't get my caramel filled candy because of tooth sensitivity issues.

I remember when I was still in primary school, the clerk lady at my father's workplace recommended me Sensodyne for my tooth sensitivity problems. Being the little boy who has zero idea on how the real society treats everyone, I really thought it was THE cure. You guessed it right, it was not.

Thanks to PPP, I have now discovered Biotene Sensitive Toothpaste. I received a sample through PPP and I do recommend Biotene as the no.1 dry mouth protection system. It resolves the difficult experiences of tooth sensitivity caused by dry mouth. It doesn't just block away the pain for you. It does what it's supposed to; treat the causes of the pain. With Biotene, you can be sure to forget the nightmares and discomfort of your tooth sensitivity. Set yourself free of tooth sensitivity issues by giving Biotene a try.

Blogger Salaries List 2007

As I was blog surfing (browsing around the bloggers' network), jumping from one blog to another, I came across Paula's New List of Blogger Salaries 2007. It is a compilation of the salaries of people who get their income from the internet, ranging from full time blogging to webmaster to online affiliate marketer. Bloggers and the Salaries that they make from their blogging. As Sabahan mentioned, "The title for the post is a little misleading because it leads some readers to believe that those people are actually making all those income exclusively from blogging."

Malaysian blogger MenJ at Critical Thoughts is in the list and most of his income source is from PayPerPost with 5 figure monthly income in RM (Ringgit Malaysia). LiewCF is no.59 in the list. And Chanlilian (5xmom) is at no.64. LiewCF reportedly makes at least $50 per day from Adsense. Chanlilian has made $13,305.51 so far from PPP and is the no.4 top earner all time at PPP.
Yes, you can make a living off the internet. Just write well and be resourceful and you can start supporting yourself via the internet.

A Stand Out: Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer

My family just can’t resist the sweet, warm, and buttery taste of doughnut while it is decorated with colorful, rich toppings and what not, childhood favorite like oreo, chocolate, or simply just sugar glaze. The possibilities are endless, so is the joy. That’s why our family recipe for doughnut is passed down generation after generation. It is very sticky dough to handle, my grandma does it using her hand labor, I choose to use a hand mixer, but everytime I start mixing the dough using a hand mixer, it is hard to get the consistency right because the hand mixer is not powerful enough to generate momentum while mixing, resulting in batter sticking at the side of the mixing bowl.

It’s Christmas again, All-Metal Stand Eclectrics® Mixer by Hamilton Beach® tops my wish list this year. I have adored its power to mix especially when I need to prepare dozens of doughnuts for my family, its unique stand mixer will make baking a breeze, I don’t have to worry about the angle of mixing nor using my hands to form a dough, this Hamilton Beach® Mixer does it all for me, just adding the ingredients and it will form a dough with perfect consistency for me. The Hamilton Beach® Stand Mixer's flexible 12-settings offers flexibility and adds control in my baking variety. This quiet machine also protects me from making a mess in the kitchen with its extra protective shield. I hope I have dropped enough hint for asking this as my Christmas present this year.

Recipe Ingredients:
4 cups flour, 4 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 3/4 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla.
