How's Fantasy Football Doing? Maybe You Need WaiverWire

I know many of you have signed up for NFL's fantasy football leagues hoping to win a lucky trip to this year's Super Bowl free of charge like I do. But your team might not be performing as good as mine. In other words, things could've been better. Well, if you had picked up Drew Brees instead of Vince Young or Tom Brady, your QB stats would be firing in all cylinders. So you don't have a consistent QB on your team, your receivers have on and off weeks, mostly off ones, and your RB can't average 1 TD per game. Then it's obvious that it's time for a shake up in the line up. Tip #1 is always to keep yourselves updated on the player news and performances via fantasy football news. Then you'll need good stat analysis to pick your starters. I prefer WaiverWire Beta which provides me with all the real time Game Day Scores to make sure I am on track of my rosters. You get all the latest updates on your team, your players and this will give your fantasy ego a boost, without a doubt.

All fantasy football fans out there, check out WaiverWire if you haven't because you'll be missing out on the fantasy hotspot. Take into account of the weather forecast and the latest news. WaiverWire gives you the edge which you will definitely welcome. Yes, it's halfway into the season, but it's never too late to make a late push for a winning season. And remember to start here next season when you make your picks. You won't regret it when you come out top in your office pool.

Black Sony PSP-3000 Media Pack Cancelled

Sony has decided drop the Black Sony PSP-3000 Media Pack which was supposed to ship at the end of November 2008. So if you want to get a bundled Sony PSP-3000 pack, you should get the Silver Rachet & Clank bundle, your best option right now. As reported on Engadget recently, the PSP-3000 a.k.a. PSP Brite, is proving to be a tough one to crack as even hackers like Dark Alex is still trying to find away to liberate the PSP-3000 for homebrew.

Do I Want a MacBook Pro or a MacBook Air?

Being cool is one thing, but having limited software applications is another. Last Sunday alone, I saw so many people hanging out in Starbucks and McDonald's with their MacBooks. It outnumbers those who own non-MacBooks. Strange but true. I've given MacBook a thought before in the past, thinking it was about time to switch to the popular platform and be the cool one in the pack, for once. However, after much consideration, I reckoned that I wasn't ready to give up on the random downloads and miscellaneous memory hogging mini programs. I didn't stay because of the OS. I stayed because of the network of applications that it brings along. If Apple has as much support as Windows, heck I'd swipe for a MacBook.

Dreaming of Belkin N1 Vision Again

Recently, I was starting to think about the overpriced Belkin N1 Vision wireless router again. Normally, people would just fork out maybe $30 for a simple router that works and does what it is supposed to do. I used to think alike. Just get something that gets the job done. Cheap and effective. But I still want the coolness. The display on the N1 Vision itself is enough to make me think over and over again whether to spend my web earnings on a piece of fancy wireless router. And I haven't stopped thinking. Until now. And it goes on and on, until I buy it, or someone else buys it for me.

Global Economy Meltdown: The Rescue Plan

As the US economy was sliding down and slowly but inadvertently pull the global economy along, the people are already piling up on their concerns on how their lives would be affected, not just the Americans, but also everyone in the world. The finance industry, namely the banking (mortgage, loans, savings) has its head on the chopping block and desperate measures had to be taken by the US government to bail themselves out of a possible very embarrassing downfall. They had previously slammed their Asian counterparts, well not so counterparts I would say, during the infamous Asian financial crisis for practising the same thing they are doing now. I guess their last trick they pulled off their sleeves aren't something special anyway. So here we have it, the rescue plan, sold to the people of the United States for $700 billion. No place like America.

Shop in the U.S.A. and Deliver to Your Foreign Address

Many foreign blogmasters are generating online earnings and would like to buy some of their wishlist items online, especially on auction sites like eBay. Whatever it is, you can find it on eBay right? However, it'd be great if all the sellers are willing to ship to anywhere in the world. Very often you'd see in the eBay listings that they don't ship to other countries besides the U.S. of A.

Now, there's this perfect mail forwarding solution for those who need it. Shipito offers exactly what you need, a solution for people living overseas and who want buy online in the U.S.A. Use their address and your items will be shipped to their warehouse in California. You'll get an email notification when your package is delivered and from there, you can choose your option to have your package to be forwarded to you. There's the shipping calculator to spit out the costs to have your package sent to you anywhere in the world. They become the option for international buyers since no where else has so many online items to choose from outside the United States.

PSP-3000 Is Out in North America

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
The new PSP-3000, dubbed the PSP Brite, is hitting the shelves in North America markets. The 3rd edition of the PSP series, up from the previous PSP Phat (PSP-1000) and PSP Slim (PSP-2000), it has a brighter LCD screen and reportedly still gives its owners the same amount of battery life. The silver Ratchet & Clank bundle is one of the 1st few that you can pick up now. It's a Silver PSP with a copy of Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters (I had the demo UMD previously, a fun game I would say), a National Treasure 2 UMD movie(which I already watched and it's a good one if you enjoyed National Treasure and Nicolas Cage), 1GB memory stick (too small for my liking, you can get 4GB ones for ~$25 nowadays) and an online download voucher for echochrome.

The PSP-3000 is priced at $199.99. Widely available from Amazon (no need to pay tax). Try Amazon Prime for Free 2-Day Shipping. It's a free trial and you can cancel after the trial without getting charged.

PSP Firmware 5.00 Is Out

True to their words, Sony released firmware 5.00 for the Sony PSP. The PSP 5.00 firmware gives the handheld WiFi access to the PlayStation store, a full size on-screen keyboard and a sleep timer (just like your old clock radio). I think the most important missing upgrade from the PSP-3000 is the touchscreen feature, with which the full on-screen keyboard would make so much more sense in firmware 5.00. The most prominent addition in firmware 5.00 is the WiFi access to the PlayStation store, in case you'd like to browse through or pick up some games via the online store.

Catch of the Day: Danielle Bux in Maxim Nov 2008

The tagline was on the cover, so I am just repeating. Catch of the Day. Danielle Bux in the featured on the cover of MAXIM November 2008 edition. Danielle Bux is a curvy bombshell and is the fiancee of former England soccer star Gary Lineker, 18 years her senior. She's also a former Virgin Atlantic air hostess and currently is a model. That explains all these nice shots. Damn she could definitely qualify as a Bond girl, not just a WAG.

Network Solutions Web Site Promotion

The Internet search engine has become the gateway for information in this digital age of today. The search results are often lined up with ads within them either context wise or displayed alongside the search results to provide relevant ads as per the search criteria. Small businesses would target this type of online website promotion to enhance their business exposure and opportunities.

Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising is the usual most effective solution for web marketing starting from search engine results. It is one of the most used channel to get new customers using your website. Expose yourself to the essence of online marketing is a good start to improving business traffic and potential. Network Solutions provides 2 outstanding performance clicks packages for customers to choose from. The first is a pre-packaged starter plan which has a more common mix of features starting from $125/month with 50 guaranteed clicks/month. I would also like to let you all know that Pay per click (PPC) is the most effective way of attracting targeted customers and converting leads to sales.

However, I would recommend the fully managed custom plan which I feel would give the best return in terms of amount "invested". It is maximised for delivering qualified leads which are what one from the small business category would be looking for. Daily ad campaign management by a dedicated search expert is definitely an added advantage. Network Solutions will do the keyword research, Web site analysis, ad copy creation, keyword buys, and campaign reporting for you. Just sit back and watch your website gets more attention.

Red Bull Cola: Strong and Natural

It has always been the red bull gives you wings slogan all this while for me. However, I accidentally came across Red Bull Cola! Now Red Bull is coming out with their own cola. No, it's not gonna have the power to topple Pepsi, not to mention Coca-Cola, even though it's backed the bull. However, Red Bull is still sticking to its guns by printing. The question is, how does cola relate to strong? By adding "natural", it sounds like some sort of enhancer like viagra or ginseng. Weird.

Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 Functions Again!

A while ago, I reported that my Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 webcam was broken as it was displaying a black screen only, mic still worked fine. Now, after a few hard twists and turns on the webcam and its cable, it functions alright again! Good thing that I didn't throw it away back then. Good news for me and my family. Maybe Logitech has really decent quality after all. I bought a 2-pack from IBM's website for $99.99 before tax. It has been a good investment so far. If anyone is interested, check it out from Amazon.com. If you have the money to spare, pick up a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 or the Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision SE Webcam. You will not regret the quality. I strongly recommend Logitech webcams over Creative's or even Microsoft's (which is actually not even worth mentioning).

October's Here, Means It's Halloween Month!

September has come and gone. It's now 3 months left before 2008 comes to an eventful and glorious close with more interesting headlines to come. October marks the start of my Halloween costume search. No, I am not gonna recycle back my previous years' costumes because that is lame even after I reconsidered the current financial turmoil pestering the country at the present. I'd need to go and visit Halloween Costume Stores to search for a unique costume which can stand out among the crowd. Yes, you need that when you attend parties packed with the bold and beautiful. Traditional store visits are going to be carried on while I'd also try to shop online as that has a lesser chance of bumping into someone who's your unwanted twin on Halloween night parties.

I've been the cool Darth Vader with the voiced helmet and FX lightsaber. I've been the masked ghoul with slow-mode flashing red eyes with a green saber. What should I try to be this year? I'd love to try out different options this time and march down the parade with the hope that I will catch some worthy attention. That's what we are asking for too right? (besides the fun). Good thing that online shopping for Halloween costumes normally offer free shipping. It's just absurd when you have to pay for shipping after spending $60 on your costume. Trust me on this, you'll know it's worth the fun.

Madden NFL 09 for PSP: Brett Favre Still in Packers Jersey

This was before Favre announced that his hands are itching to throw for touchdowns and he's willing to leave Green Bay in order to achieve that. EASports never saw that coming apparently. The legacy, the rich history, who would've guessed that the Packers' legend quarterback would come out of retirement again and this time ditch them. Favre jetted off to New York. And he's not faring well there. Anyway, the Madden NFL 09 has used Favre as their cover man and stuck to their choice even after Favre became a Jet. Subsequently, they released downloadable covers of Favre donning a Jets jersey. Less glamorous, less Favre.

Eat Healthier, Laugh More, Money Savvy and Live Your Dreams

I saw this on August 2008's Reader's Digest cover. It says, Yes, you can!...Eat Healthier, Laugh More, Money Savvy, Live Your Dreams, Believe in Baseball Again. Alright, let's leave the last one out. In the wake of the ongoing financial turmoil (globally), these points can stay true without compromise. Yes, we all have to be money savvy to manage our financial situation, to ensure our savings will back us up to weather through the upcoming storms. However, there's a point why the coin is at the 3rd position and the strawberry is mentioned 1st. I cannot agree more that health comes before money, without a doubt. Manage your health well 1st and live happily, then only you worry about money. If a problem can be solved with money, it is no longer a problem. And the fact is that health cannot be solved with money.
