HTC Magic with Android to Vodafone (T Mobile G2?)

Looks like we are having a big announcement from my beloved HTC! The HTC Magic is official. It will be powered by Google's Android OS and become the 1st phone with a full touch screen Android. HTC Magic will have a 3.2-inch HVGA screen at the center front (Half VGA, doubling up on the standard Quarter VGA (QVGA), HDSPA, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera (but no flash?!?!), and a G1-style trackball. This will clearly set the platform to be the upcoming T Mobile G2 I presume. Details on pricing and availability will be gleefully revealed by Vodafone later. Its touchscreen is capacitive, much like the Apple iPhone.

Here are the specs for the HTC Magic:

• Processor: Qualcomm MSM7201a, 528MHz.
• Memory: 512MB ROM, 192MB RAM.
• Dimensions: 4.45 x 2.17 x 0.45-inches.
• Weight: 4.18 ounces with battery.
• Network: HSPA/WCDMA 900 / 2100MHz (no love for the US of A) with 2Mbps up, 7.2Mbps down; quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz.
• Display: 3.2-inch TFT-LCD HVGA 480x320
• Connectivity: Bluetooth, WiFi, mini USB, and GPS
• Input: Trackball with Enter button, Capacitive touchscreen with on-screen keyboard (both portrait and landscape)

Personally, I am disappointed that HTC decided to leave out the flash for the camera and only equip it with a 3.2MP camera. Cameras in HTC tend to fare pretty bad compared to Sony Ericsson's stellar CyberShot inclusion. Also, it'd been nice to see them release a version of the G2 with a slide-out keyboard for a change (or as an option to those who prefer to type quick instead of the ever-annoying touchscreen keyboard - like me).

The PS3 version sold 58,000 copies, while the 360 version sold 28,000. 1Gbps Internet in South Korea by 2012 - Wow!

South Koreans could be boasting their superquick 1Gbps internet connection by the year 2012. According to a new proposal by the Korea Communications Commission, it's aiming to make broadband ten times faster in its nation in under 3 years. Holy what!? This could prove to be a good economic move as well since it is speculated to be able to create ~120,000 jobs thanks to this visionary proposal by the KCC. Let's see if the Japanese are gonna top that. You know how those 2 try to be the no.1 in Asia...

Obama Is The Choice

Barack Obama campaigned for a change, to offer America a chance for a change. America reposnded. America agreeed. They are ready for a change. They nominated a lady and a black man to be the Republican candidate for the post of America's next president. Either way, it was gonna be a first. A first lady president or a first black president. From then on, I believed that the stage was set. Regardless of who the Democrats nominate, it'd come to the point of a change. Either Obama or Clinton (Hilary) is going to be president. Truly upholding the rule of the American freedom, they've chosen Barack Obama to be their next president. In this historic presidential election, America is truly America. Obama is the choice. And tomorrow, Barack Obama will step into White House officially as the President of the United States of America. The change begins.

SeXy Santa Helper Velvet Dress Maribou (Trim HAT Included) - You Should Buy This

This was supposed to be a Christmas list item. Reason being it's so totally themed for Christmas (duh) and the price is not too sky high. One thing I like is the fluffy white feathers on the top and bottom of the outfit (Sexy Santa Helper Velvet Dress Maribou). Makes it look so much in the holiday season mood while appearing sexy and cozy. Furthermore, a matching Santa hat is included. Center front gather, flared bottom and elastic belt front detail. Indeed a must have for this Christmas season! It looks great on picture, but the thing about buying things online is that you don't get to see/feel it. And regrets do not favor us as returns are more often than not quite a hassle plus you'll have to live with some petty charges deducted off your refunds. Buying from reputable sellers would be one way to ensure quality in the goods delivered. Otherwise, sometimes you're just rolling the dice, hoping to save some extra dollars along the way. Yours for $27.98.

My 5th Year with PayPal?

I received an email from PayPal saying cheers to 5 years! So I've been a trained PayPal user with a rich 5 year experience of using PayPal as a mean of payment and money transfer. And thanks to PayPal's money market, I also get to add savings into my PayPal resume. Impressive! Haha! By tradition, the 5th year anniversary is symbolised by the Sapphire. And PayPal didn't even offer me anything. I was hoping for a dollar off one time use coupon at least. So much for staying loyal. If you need to hear bad things about PayPal, go here. Otherwise, go to PayPal.

Here's the content of their congratulatory email:

Hello me,
Thank you for being a loyal customer for the past 5 years. We hope you continue to enjoy the convenience of shopping online with PayPal at stores you know and trust. Remember, checkout is safer and easier when you use PayPal.
Thanks,PayPal

Upload Delays

Sorry for the late uploads on the Naruto Shippuden episodes 86-87. The uploading in Firefox stalled overnight as I left it. Geez, I needed to use IE just for that upload. Enjoy folks! A pretty damn good episode, although we are already far ahead in the manga.
