1Gbps Internet in South Korea by 2012 - Wow!

South Koreans could be boasting their superquick 1Gbps internet connection by the year 2012. According to a new proposal by the Korea Communications Commission, it's aiming to make broadband ten times faster in its nation in under 3 years. Holy what!? This could prove to be a good economic move as well since it is speculated to be able to create ~120,000 jobs thanks to this visionary proposal by the KCC.
