Recently I had to change password for my NetID and the new policy requires me to have passwords which must be a minimum of eight (8) characters in length. They must contain characters from at least three (3) of the following categories: uppercase letters (A-Z); lowercase letters (a-z); digits (0-9); and special characters (~`!@#$%^&*()+=_-{}[]\|:;"?/<>,.)
Now why would I need uppercase letters and special characters in my password? Too complex for my tiny brain. What's your password like? My favorite is 1234567890. Easy as a piece of cake.
