Lionsgate Films Presents Bug Starring Ashley Judd

Lionsgate Films Presents Bug Starring Ashley Judd
First they send in their drone, then they find their queen

There is a new bug movie coming to the cinema screens later this month. It's presented by Lionsgate Films and has Ashley Judd on board. This film is rated R and is brought to you by the director of Exorcist. That should give the audience a rough idea on what to expect from this movie. Here's the trailer which is on YouTube:

BUG movie has an inviting homepage. Quite creepy, somewhat high level of horror. The bug movie is going to hit the screens on May 25 2007 all across the nation. The Boston Herald quoted that the BUG movie is one of the most scary horror movie ever. As I mentioned, the homepage looks very inviting. Providing a great sense of suspense and horror.

The BUG movie has 2 posters available.

The first one (with the bug in white background) looks less scary as it doesn't really portray the whole content of the movie. It doesn't bring out the horror or the suspense. Conversely, the second poster provides a clearer image on what to expect. A picture that tells the audience this IS a horror movie, and a good one. A brief synopsis of the BUG movie is as follows:
Bug Movie Synopsis: A lonely waitress with a tragic past, Agnes (Ashely Judd) rooms in a run-down motel, living in fear of her abusive, recently paroled ex-husband. But when Agnes begins a tentative romance with Peter, an eccentric, nervous drifter, she starts to feel hopeful again - until the first bugs arrive.

Superb acting and great film overall! But what is troubling is:

The film, masquerading as a horror flick, transparently shows you, should you *dare* consider the idea of a world-wide conspiracy by the Bilderbergers to maintain control of world wide power, "so they keep their status quo" so that "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer", that *you* are in a class with Timothy McVeigh, Jim Jones, and Ted Kaczinski, that *you* are ignorant, uneducated, ever-more paranoid, isolated, incoherent, delusional, a product of unorthodox personal religion or of the lowest rung of society, weak, desperate, slovenly, defenseless (that's what the nudity conveys), unreachable, self-indulgent, no boundaries, existing in the backwaters of society, lonely, drifting...but most of all also that your *madness* is infectious, dangerous, and ultimately leads to your own self-destruction.

A BIT OVERKILL, wouldn't you say??
