3rd Gen 2010 Toyota Prius Breaks 50mpg Mark - Get One

The 2010 Toyota Prius hybrid car can be anybody's dream. The 3rd gen 2010 Prius has upped its mpg mark to 50 compared to its predecessor's 45. The Prius is one of the best family hybrid car and it's everywhere on the streets (seeing is believing). Many people like the fact that it is affordable, environmental friendly and money saving at the same time. Of course, since the gas price dropped from the crazy $4, $5 per gallon frenzy, Toyota Prius' sales have slowed dramatically with the downfall. Nevertheless, it is wanted. Officially, it’s rated at 50 mpg city, 39 highway by the EPA, but TheCarConnection.com’s experts teased 69.5 mpg with judicious use of the gas and the Prius’ new battery-only EV driving mode.

The 2010 Prius has a ridiculous amount of high-tech gadgetry; solar panels, automatic parking, lane keep assist, etc. Toyota is expecting to take 40,000 preorders in Japan for its new 2010 Prius hybrid ahead of its official debut in May. For the sake of comparison, the Japanese automaker sold a total of 73,100 Prius hybrids in all of 2008.
