Man Utd make £20m offer for Hargreaves
Bayern Munich have received a 30 million euro bid (£19.7million) for England midfielder Owen Hargreaves from Manchester United, according to reports in Germany.
German tabloid Bild claims they have been told by Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge that an offer has been lodged.
However, Rummenigge has reiterated the club's stance that they will not do business, at least until the summer.
Rummenigge said: 'It does not come into question. In the summer we will see how things work out.'
Hargreaves, who is 26 tomorrow, confirmed the bid from the Barclays Premiership leaders.
'It's been official today that Manchester United have made an offer for me,' Hargreaves told BBC Sport.
'For a club like Man Utd to make an offer is something I appreciate.'
Hargreaves, who has 37 international caps, has been out of action since September with a broken leg but returned to training this week ahead of an expected first-team return next month.
