Apple announced a new iPod Shuffle 2GB model. This, as usual, brings down the price of the model it replaces, the 1GB iPod Shuffle to just $49. For those who don't care if the mp3 player has a visual control display or not, then this is a good price for a reliable mp3 player. The 2GB iPod Shuffle would sell for $69. Up to 500 songs on your sleeve for $69 is a pretty decent and standard deal. As usual, if you buy directly from Apple online, there's the free engraving option.
